LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE
At your wedding you will be presented with a Marriage Certificate. This certificate is conclusive evidence of your marriage but not of your identity.
TRANSLATOR
A translator deals with the written word. They translate written messages from one language to another. If you require a document such as a Birth Certificate, Divorce Paper or a Statutory Declaration to be translated into another language, you will require the services of a translator.
INTERPRETER
They interpret what someone is saying from one language into another. In a wedding the bride, the groom, the two witnesses and the celebrant must all speak and understand the same language.
