A commitment ceremony is a formal avenue to celebrate and honour a partnership between two people who love each other. It has no legal requirements or conditions.

These ceremonies are for couples who have made a commitment to each other and wish to formalise their union by publicly declaring their promises in the presence of family and friends.

Ceremonies are entirely personal and may include readings, exchanging of rings, rituals and symbolism.

A Certificate of Commitment, together with a bound copy of your ceremony will be presented to you as a memento at the conclusion of the ceremony.

A commitment ceremony is a popular alternative to a same-sex marriage, which is not yet recognised by law in Australia.

In NSW advise can be given regarding registering the union at the Sydney Town Hall.
