Namings
A Naming Ceremony is a significant and fulfilling experience for all involved. It is an occasion when a new birth is celebrated and a child is welcomed into the world.
It is a time to consider the future and reflect on the wonderful possibilities that lies before this child. It reminds all concerned of the great responsibility involved in bringing up a child.
Significant people in the child's life are encouraged to participate actively in the ceremony. During the ceremony, those who will have an important role in the child's development are recognised and appointed.
Certificates for parents, god-parents / guardians / mentors, grandparents, great grand parents and of course the child are issued to record the event. A bound copy of your ceremony will be presented to you as a memento. A Naming Ceremony is a wonderful and happy ritual which expresses joy, optimism and love.
Renewal of Vows
For a variety of reasons, many couples decide to renew and reaffirm previously made vows.
The marriage may have taken place interstate or overseas and the couple now wish to ceremonially share the occasion amongst those who couldn't be present. Significant wedding anniversaries are also wonderful to celebrate with a reaffirmation ceremony, possibly involving children and grandchildren.
A Reaffirmation Certificate, together with a bound copy of your ceremony will be presented to you as a memento at the conclusion of the ceremony. There are infinite choices as to the style of service and symbolism that can be used to enrich the ceremony and make it personal.
Commitment Ceremonies
A commitment ceremony is a formal approach to celebrate and honour a partnership, usually of same sex couples. It has no legal requirements or conditions.
These ceremonies are for couples who have made a commitment to each other and wish to formalise their union by publicly declaring their promises in the presence of family and friends.
Ceremonies are entirely personal and may include readings, exchanging of rings, rituals and symbolism.
A Certificate of Commitment, together with a bound copy of your ceremony will be presented to you as a memento at the conclusion of the ceremony.
A commitment ceremony is a popular alternative to a gay marriage, which is not recognised by law in Australia.
